Capturing a performance and deliver it to an audience is an art form on itself. I take great pride on being involved in all or any of the steps of record production. Is always fun to be in the studio with fellow musicians but Mixing is my long time passion. Recently I have found new respect and love for the mastering process and its importance.
Nothing beats the rush of a live performance, Can't be around without having my fix of live sound for too long. I feel privileged to have work on Concerts as well as musical Theater during my career. Mix a 30 piece of Orchestra, 6 piece band and 25 actors on stage and you will know the definition of FLOW, so addictive.
Music its what started it all. Since I can remember, I have been involved in music : conservatory, guitar classes, bands, songwriter and then professionally as a producer and composer. Music is a labor of love, there are no formulas, no tricks. You just pour your heart into it and then you just let go. Music has its own space and time.
From films to podcasts, from games to commercials , audio post its a world of its own, and a big one indeed. It's certainly thrilling watching a soundscape in a sci fi movie that didn't exist in real life. Or maybe just getting rid of an Ac rumble to help a Podcaster. Technology and creativity make everything possible in the current world of audio post.
if I had to describe my 20 year career in audio that would be diverse. I have been very lucky to have worked at professional level in almost all branches of audio and music production . Musicals , Orchestra recording, Pop Music Mixing, Film scores , Tv shows and many other formats have filled my time and my career in challenging and exciting ways.
I have a Degree on Audio Engineering from Full Sail University in Orlando Florida , I have worked in Studios and Stages. I am guitar player and composer , and I bring that on the table to all my engineering projects, leaning towards a more artistic approach and contribution than the mere technical.
I take my work very seriously, knowing that when I work on my clients projects I will put all my talent and hard work to reach and surpass their expectations and hopefully, build a long term relationship that can grow.
